While we observe the abundance of nature in this month of October, admiring its richness and colors, picking and harvesting what nature has gifted us, the seeds are already present, those that will sprout next spring and delight us again with their gifts next autumn.

It is a recurring cycle of life, not fading away but transforming.

Right now, we feel the sometimes contradictory emotions of joy, gratitude for the abundance of life, and at the same time, we already sense a farewell and a kind of sorrow as nature withdraws, and the hours of darkness increase. Around us, fruits and leaves fall, some plants slowly wither, and the flowers become smaller.

Just as the Greek goddess Demeter says goodbye to her daughter Persephone, who must return to the underworld to Hades, we bid farewell to what we love about the spring and summer seasons.

In Biodanza, we experience with all our senses, our body, and our mind that this is just a transformation, that life in its vital quality always remains. It is now more deeply felt within us.

We look and feel inward, finding and connecting with our source, the impulse of life, and our love.

Each Biodanza session is an experience of our vital, creative, and expressive resources and a sensitive encounter with our senses, our sources, and genuine interaction with people.

Bios – life in all its existence – is our model.
