Many people in positions of responsibility carry on functioning – even when, deep down, it’s all become too much. When Earth Overshoot Day and Mother’s Day fall on the same day...

On the one hand, this has to do with the history of Mother’s Day, which was commercially imported into Europe and politically exploited during the Nazi era. How does our communication change in uncertain times?
Some changes take place subtly in our everyday lives. We may not even notice them at first, until we suddenly realise that something is developing that triggers an unsettling feeling. This may be triggered by an external factor, or I may find that I have strayed from my usual communication style.
