A new golden age or the burial of humanity, ecology, freedom and progress?

A power-obsessed politician has been sworn in. A man who divides, manipulates and provokes, who is all about himself and his friends, who lives in his golden tower and plots revenge. The woman at his side at the inauguration resembles a dictator's wife (#LouisPisano) without emotion.
His first official acts set the tone.
They will cause pain and havoc in the lives of many people and lead to increased destructiveness to the natural environment. There will probably be some very difficult days ahead. It's painful to watch the torching of ecological and human values by someone simultaneously exhorting to greatness. (#MarianneWilliamson)
I definitely don't want to get involved in this black-and-white view or in his power plays. His victim-power script will not impress me. To me, his vision of a golden age is nothing more than the accumulation of wealth of inwardly failed people eccentrically searching for more and new kicks. (#Ican'tgetnosatisfaction)
I let myself be drawn to what life really is.
Feel life, being connected with people, being respectful of the environment and the world around me, helping to shape a future worth living in, showing solidarity and being attentive. Connecting people and nature. True communication. Being open and reflective.
Destructive systems always reach their limits. Life, humanitarian and ecological values will survive and prevail.
